These sweat shorts are constructed of heavyweight cotton fleece and have a loose, wide-cut. The BAPE signature street-ready look is achieved through the drop-crotch design and flexible waistband. Such shorts will complete the A Bathing Ape outfit in combination with Shark hoodies, or oversized graphic tees.

Shape & Aesthetic

The heavy GSM cotton makes this shorts retain a structured, bulky shape. The garments come in openings of the legs to enable air circulation and movement and the pre-shrunk fleece makes the garments maintain their boxy shape in place after repeated wear. Thick, ribbed waistband offers a anchoring device that is very secure, unlike the loose hanging hem.

Care & Authenticity

Turn the shorts inside out and machine wash in cold water using a gentle cycle. Hang dry not too long so that the screen print graphics of the sharks do not crack and peel. Each set will have an ape head tag at the back of the wash label made of gold foil and sleeve tag on the left end of the leg to confirm authenticity.

Will this fit larger head sizes?

These are waist-worn shorts, not headwear. The elastic waistband and adjustable drawstring accommodate a wide range of waist sizes, though we recommend sizing up if you prefer a traditional baggy streetwear look.

Is the brim adjustable?

This garment does not have a brim. The waist utilizes a heavy-duty cotton drawstring that allows you to tighten or loosen the fit around the hips for personalized comfort.

Does the beanie lose its shape over time?

While these are shorts and not a beanie, the 100% cotton fleece is knitted for high stretch-recovery. The fabric resists sagging at the knees or seat, maintaining its original structured fit through regular use.
