Shape & Aesthetic

This hoodie provides a fitted shape at the weight of heavy fabric which does not lead to collapses. A device referred to as the high density ribbing is used in the cuffs and waistband to achieve maximum stretch-recovery, so that the garment keeps its taper after having more than one wash. The hood is also two-layered on the shoulders to give a stiff, erect appearance which does not flatten when lying on the shoulders.

Care & Authenticity

Cold inside-out machine wash as a way of keeping the graphics on the screen print. To avoid contractions and keep the cotton fibers dense, hang dry. Each original work has a coordinated, silky sleeve tag bearing a sharp Ape Head Logo, and a rough gold foil tag that was sewn into the inner neckline.

Will this fit larger head sizes?

The hood is designed with an oversized, deep-cut "Shark" construction that provides ample room for all head sizes and hairstyles. The wide neck opening prevents a restrictive feel when the hood is down.

Is the brim adjustable?

This is a standard fabric hoodie and does not contain a physical brim or internal wiring. The double-stitched hood seams allow you to manually style the edge for a folded or peaked look.

Does the hoodie lose its shape over time?

No. The use of 100% heavyweight loopback cotton and reinforced ribbing at the waist ensures the garment resists stretching. Following the recommended hang-dry process preserves the original boxy shape indefinitely.
